1. Return To Mysterious Island 2

Oct 23, 2011  I am currently playing Return to Mysterious Island 2 and I got some weird graphic glitches - as if every image is 'doubled'. Scrolling is kind of a 'stuttering'. Is there some patch that could solve this issue? I am playing with a Geforce 570 GTX and the current nvidia-Driver 280.26. About This GameMina’s rescue from the end of the first game is cut dramatically short and she and primate pal Jep are left again on the mysterious island to fend for themselves! Mina needs to dress her wounds and keep safe against the local wildlife, but now she has the assistance of the player controlled Jep who can fit in smaller spaces, move deftly through the jungle and even communicate with other animals in their bid to survive. Using even more combinations of items throughout the island, Mina and Jep will need to recover from their traumatic circumstances and find another way, any way, off the mysterious island!

But if Mina makes this decision, she gives up -as Captain Nemo did before her- the idea of returning to civilizationTwo-character play: in the first installment, the player embodied Mina, a young and carefree navigator taking part in the Jules Verne competition, and used Jep, a cute, little monkey, as a simple tool. In Return to Mysterious Island 2 Jep becomes a character in his own right. The player switches from one character to another and maximizes the use of each other’s talents depending on the circumstances: only Mina can use complex tools, combine objects and, of course, read the documents found in the course of the game; whereas Jep can climb places inaccessible to Mina, communicate with other monkeys and find numerous objects thanks to his sense of smell.This new adventure will be served by scripted dialogues and by cinematics treated in the form of colorized comic vignettes.
